Chapter 5:
- Gatsby is eager to hear about Jordan and Nick's evening that he keeps insisting him and Nick hang out at 2 am
- Gatsby is persistent in making it seem like he isn't trying to inconvinience Nick, a personality trait found in Gatsby that he doesn't want to burden others
- You can tell that Daisy has a serious effect on Garsby in a way that makes him nervous and constantly moving or talking when he doesn't need to be
- He is usually cool and collected but his history with Daisy, that became clear to us in the last chapter, effected both Daisy and Gastby for their future lives. Which is evident in the way they interact with one another
- Gatsby's feeling for Daisy are, if not stronger, still the same as when they were younger.
- When Nick returns to join Gastby and Daisy, Gatsby's persona changes to a more natural Gatsby, what you expect him to be like-profound, outgoing, always smiling.
- When Daisy is in Gatsby's bedroom, with Nick and Gatsby, she begins to cry into the soft, expensive sheets... But I don't think she is crying because of how nice the sheets are.
- Maybe she is, she realizes the life she could be living v. The life she is living... With a husband and child
- Gatsby becomes persistent, as he was with Nick the night before, for Nick to play the piano.
